23rd International Symposium on Econometrics, Operations Research and Statistics

23rd International Symposium on Econometrics, Operations Research and Statistics (ISEOS 2026) will be hosted by the Department of Econometrics, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Manisa Celal Bayar University, and will be held on September 17–19, 2026 at Prof. Dr. Ümit Doğay Arınç Cultural Center in Manisa.

This year’s symposium motto has been determined as “Econometrics: A 100-Year Scientific Journey (1926–2026)”. This motto emphasizes the intellectual development of the discipline of econometrics over the past century and draws attention to the enduring interaction between theoretical reasoning and empirical evidence. Since its emergence in the early twentieth century, econometrics has become one of the fundamental fields that bridges economic theory and real-world data through rigorous statistical and quantitative methods. Today, with rapid developments in data science, artificial intelligence, and computational techniques, econometrics continues to provide indispensable tools for understanding complex economic and social phenomena.

The ISEOS Symposium continues to serve as a respected international scientific platform that brings together researchers, academics, and professionals working in the fields of econometrics, operations research, statistics, and related quantitative disciplines. The symposium aims to encourage the sharing of innovative ideas, the discussion of current scientific developments, and the strengthening of collaboration among scholars from different countries and institutions.

The symposium program will include invited talks, plenary sessions, and parallel sessions, addressing a broad range of topics related to theoretical developments, methodological advances, and empirical applications.

For all presented papers, authors will be offered the opportunity to submit full texts for publication in the symposium proceedings book. A DOI will be assigned to each accepted paper, and the proceedings book will be published with an ISBN. In addition, selected papers are planned to be considered for publication in special issues of academic journals. Journal publication opportunities will not be available for online participation.
